Entries for this Competition will be accepted from 7.00 am (GMT+10) on the 11 December 2018.
The closing date for the receipt of entries is 5.00 p.m. (GMT+10) on the 3 April 2019.
How to participate
Each participant must earn at least 100 points (the “Qualification Criteria”) to automatically win a getaway to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.. The Promoter at its sole discretion shall decide whether participants attending the event have met the Qualification Criteria or not and whether they are to benefit from the Prize (see Prize section below).
Points System (Orange Select):
- Sign up for an Optimize Annual Contract - 50 points
- Sign up for a Streamline Annual Contract - 45 points
- Refer a partner who signs up for Extract Practice - 40 points
- Refer a partner who signs up for Extract Professional - 10 points
- Sign up for Extract Practice on a monthly or annual basis - 40 points
- Sign up for Extract Professional on a monthly or annual basis - 40 points
- Refer a Friend - 1 point per friend, up to 15 points
- Add new clients and have them submit at least once on Receipt Bank - 1 point per client up to 15 points; OR
The prize is a trip to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Prize includes two night’s accommodation with breakfast and lunch provided at the Sheraton Port Douglas Resort Hotel with dinner. The Promoter shall arrange for a variety of excursions at the Great Barrier Reef. Unless expressly specified otherwise in these terms and conditions, the prize excludes any other costs connected to the prize, including travel, food and drink, hotel incidental costs, hotel room service and spending money.
Each participant that is to opt for the Orange Select scheme shall be responsible for booking, arranging and paying for their own economy flights to Cairns Airport. The participant shall present a valid receipt in relation to their flight booking upon registration of the retreat and/or the first day of the conference, 3 April 2019. The participant shall be able to recover the value of the flight booking but this shall not exceed the value of $500 AUD.
‘Pay your way’ scheme
All participants have the option to benefit from the ‘pay your way’ scheme this means that (1) the participant must arrange, book and pay for their own economy flights arriving at Cairns Airport and (2) pay The Promoter $850 AUD to benefit from the Prize (see below in 4. Prizes).
For the avoidance of doubt, any participant that wishes to opt for the ‘pay your way’ scheme must pay the Promoter $850 AUD within 48 hours of registration via bank transfer. This is so that the participant can benefit from two night’s accommodation with breakfast and lunch provided at the Sheraton Port Douglas Resort Hotel with dinner. The Promoter shall arrange for a variety of excursions at the Great Barrier Reef.
Plus one policy
If there is an additional participant that is from the same participating accountancy and/or bookkeeping firm and would like to attend the conference this additional attendee shall opt into the “pay your way” scheme to attend the event.
If the additional attendee is not from a participating accountancy and/or bookkeeping firm, this additional attendee is welcome to stay in the same room and attend the welcome reception and dinner or day one of the conference.
With respect to sharing rooms, the additional attendee must be from the same participating accountancy and/or bookkeeping firm. The additional attendee is responsible for the following (1) arranging, booking and paying for their flight and (2) to pay Promoter $350 AUD (this includes the conference, meals and excursions).
Unless expressly specified otherwise in these terms and conditions, the prize excludes any other costs connected to the plus one policy, including travel, food and drink, hotel incidental costs, hotel room service and spending money.
Notification of the participants
The participants will be notified by email. If the participant cannot accept the prize for any reason or is not contactable then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
It is a condition of these terms and conditions that the participant and/or additional attendees must provide the Promoter with their bank card details in the event of cancellation.
The participant and/or additional attendee shall provide their bank card details to the Promoter via Cvent upon registration.
If the participant cannot attend the conference, they shall be subject to pay a cancellation fee of $850AUD and this shall be taken from the participants and/or additional attendee’s bank card.
Participants agree that the Promoter may use their personal data for administrative purposes and with other third party service providers connected to the Competition, and that the Promoter may contact entrants (including by email) for such purposes.
Restrictions and requirements
This Competition is only open to accountancy and bookkeeping firms in Australia and New Zealand the Promoter has invited to participate and that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these terms and conditions. The following are not eligible to enter the Competition: (1) employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of this Competition.
